Description
Dacia Sandero Stepway: Car Rentals Cluj
Looking for a rental car in Cluj that feels like a small SUV but is as easy to drive as a city car? Dacia Sandero Stepway is the sweet spot: an urban crossover with just enough "adventurous" attitude, perfect for both city streets and weekend getaways.
Why is Sandero Stepway different from a regular Sandero?
Elevated driving position: 40mm higher than the standard Sandero. You see better over the traffic in front, maneuvering in parking lots is easier. You get the SUV feel without the SUV price.
Increased ground clearance: 174mm. High speed bumps, tall kerbs and uneven tarmac are no problem. Please note: as with every car in our fleet, driving on unpaved or non-public roads is not allowed (penalty of 300-500 EUR plus repair costs, see the Terms and conditions).
Discreetly adventurous design: Plastic cladding on the wheel arches, aluminum skid plates, reinforced roof bars. It has the look of an adventurer, but it is made for asphalt: city streets, national roads and paved mountain passes.
How is it on a daily basis?
1.0 TCe 90 HP engine: Turbocharged gasoline with surprisingly brisk acceleration in the city. Combined consumption of 5.3L/100km. On the highway, up to 6L/100km at 130 km/h. Excellent for long trips.
Compact dimensions: 4.10m long: you park anywhere, including on Cluj's narrow streets (Eroilor, Piața Mihai Viteazu, the old center).
Trunk: 320 liters, enough for daily use, a weekend trip to Maramureș or weekly shopping at Kaufland.
Modern equipment: Touchscreen with Bluetooth and smartphone mirroring, cruise control with speed limiter, front and rear parking sensors, manual air conditioning (perfectly effective), height-adjustable driver seat.
Who is this Sandero Stepway perfect for?
Young couples who want to try out Transylvanian tourism: Cheia, Belis, Rimetea, Apuseni Mountains. Students who need a cheap-to-rent car with character. Business people who travel for work and visit clients in the countryside. Adventurous families who want a weekend to the mountains without switching to a big SUV.
Why Simple Rent Cluj?
Transparent prices starting from 12 euros a day, no hidden fees, optional CASCO insurance, cars technically verified, mechanical inspection up to date. Pickup at Cluj Airport or downtown. Friendly relationship: we're not just a rental company, we're a team of people who love cars and help you have the best trip.
